APS Phase II System for BA-BF Ford XR6 Turbo and Typhoon.

From day one APS was committed to engineer a high quality 330kw system which could easily pass the Australian design rule ADR 79/00 engine emission test, yet still be capable of running a high 12 second quarter mile pass, yet be user friendly and extremely drivable in every day bumper to bumper traffic.
Smart Power, that's what the APS PHASE II High Output System is all about. By adopting a total system approach APS delivers a phenomenal 330 kW utilizing relatively conservative turbo pressure levels of 10 - 12 psi across the RPM range and consequently lower thermal and mechanical engine loads than others who use high risk strategies to achieve a similar quoted power result.    
 

The APS Phase II kit consists of the following components:

  • 6 Maximum flow bosch injectors

  • APS Maximum flow Cold air Intake

  • APS 3.5 inch - dual 2.5 inch stainless steel exhaust

The APS cold air intake complements the standard air cleaner assembly by sourcing cold air from underneath the headlight. Precisely cast in aluminum to take full advantage of the intricate shape between the headlight and air cleaner assembly, the APS smooth bore cold air intake ensures maximum air flow for high engine horsepower.

The APS injectors are High Capacity Directional Quad Orifice injectors specifically designed to spray fuel precisely in the Ford XR6T's multi-valve head configuration. This results in not only efficient combustion and optimum engine operation, but also excellent fuel economy and clean emissions.

With the APS Stainless exhaust a huge 3.5 inch tube scavenges hot exhaust gasses from the turbocharger, through the innovative APS catalytic converter where it continues as a single 3.5 inch tube to the mid mount muffler. Internally the muffler splits the exhaust gas flow into two smooth bore 2.5 inch pipes which are routed over the rear axle assembly and into the APS High Output twin 2.5 inch resonator.
